V3.1.0 (2024-11-08) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Minor release of the European flood hazard map. - A check for flooded area increase for increasing return periods has been implemented for all areas. - The masking of flooding along coastlines has been improved. Some flooded areas along the coast still remain, but some of these can be identified and removed using the permanent water bodies dataset. - New additional dataset: the Europe_spurious_depth_areas.tif identifies areas where depths >10m are predicted in small channels (<3,000km^2) for the 10 year return period, plus a 2km buffer. Very high water depths may be caused by limitations in the hydraulic model in combination with the spatial resolution or by artificial sinks in the DEM. Users should exercise caution when using the depth values in these areas.
