1. The ECVAM Virtual Lab app

Funded by the European Parliament, the ECVAM Virtual Lab is an innovative digital learning application for teenagers between 14 and 18 years of age. It offers a playful approach to learn about alternatives to animal testing in laboratories, aiming at enhancing understanding and awareness. Through immersive engagement, this application seeks to trigger curiosity and enthusiasm for non-animal approaches in scientific research, while also gaining basic knowledge of laboratory practices. The application is installed locally and can be used both offline and online.

2. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose and through which technical means?

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) does not collect any personal information via the ECVAM Virtual Lab app, including names, metadata, and IP addresses, neither when the application is downloaded from the link https://applabgamelist.com/ nor when in use through the platform Meta Quest. As a result, JRC does not get access to any of your personal information via the ECVAM Virtual Lab app. Consequently, there is no information to verify, modify or delete, and no personal data is kept by JRC.
