The files published here contains spatial effort (fishing days) and landings data (weight in tonnes and value in euro) 
collected in the context of the 2019 DCF Fisheries Dependent Information (FDI) data call and disseminated accordingly 
to the format proposed during the STECF EWG 19-11; for details please refer to the report from the STECF EWG 19-11 
(paragraph 3.4, table 3.4.1.1, pages 49-51).

Please note that, in the 2019 FDI data call, the spatial data for Mediterranean and Black Sea areas were requested 
only for years 2017 and 2018 (for the previous years, some Member States provided spatial data on a voluntary basis).

Please note that, to ensure consistency, data with the following issues were excluded from the dataset used 
to prepare the map: 
- data with c-square or geographical coordinates not contained in the specified sub-region;
- data with inconsistent combination of geographical coordinates and rectangle type.
In addition, data marked as confidential by Portugal were excluded as requested by the STECF EWG 19-11.
