# DEFID2

DEFID2 is the Database of European Forest Insect & Disease Disturbances.
The raw data are organized into two sqlite databases (defid2.sqlite and defid2_extension.sqlite). The R package defid2R, available at https://code.europa.eu/jrc-forest/defid2r facilitates access and handling of these data.
A geopackage file is also provided for quick spatial analysis and visualization in GIS software.
